Manage and provide leadership support to site purchasing team to support manufacturing site. Supervise, coach and lead a team of buyers order for goods and services. Ensure implementation and enforcement of global purchasing processes. Provide support to commodity management program in the region. From time to time, organize purchasing cost. Manage DNM Purchasing Team to support manufacturing facility in providing right material costs, control price/cost variances and stock-outs are minimized while optimizing inventory turns. Accountable to ensure the team work towards meeting all the departmental and company objectives/goals at all times and strive to enhance the team’s capabilities and performance while focusing on improving operation efficiency. Down time of the manufacturing process at a factory due to run-out of materials is minimized. Supplier relationships are maintained and improved with excellent communication. Service level commitment to stakeholders are met, i.e. RFQ and PR to PO turnaround time meeting SLA. Ensures the team expedites or push out the deliveries according to changes in production in a timely manner. SOX control owner and department internal auditee for purchasing compliance. Provide guidance and support to regional commodity team in sourcing and vendor management.

The incumbent should be experienced & knowledgeable about managing sustainable farming projects clearing audit for certification schemes like Rain Forrest Alliance, USDA Organic. Achieve the sustainability goals for spices sourcing in Vietnam, ensuring alignment with global sustainability policy. Lead and manage all the sustainability initiatives, farmer-outreach projects. Presentation and reporting on the progress of the various projects/ initiatives. Manage the internal sustainability audits and external certifications/reports (Ethical sourcing, Rain Forest Alliance). Integrate digital tools/ apps in the on-going projects. Communication and creating the buzz with internal and external stakeholders on all aspects related to the sustainability activities of SVI Vietnam.

Responsibility for Tax compliance, Tax submissions and dealing with matters relating to the Tax department. Review and monitor factory cost accounting system; makes recommendations for improvement as needed. Leads and/or review general ledger journal entries, fixed asset tracking, monthly balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliation. Reviews financial data for accuracy; identifies problems and supports day-to-day operations. Responsible for accurate and timely month-end close; produces month-end financial reports and issues to appropriate personnel in a timely manner. Reconciles balance sheet accounts. Assists with company cash flow analysis including but not limited to tracking cash flow activity, preparing reports, and analyzing information for management. Supports policy development and offers advice regarding accounting and internal control issues, reporting needs, and policy review and changes. Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
